On April 27th, Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government conferred the second Guizhou Outstanding Talent Award on selected and nominated candidates. Among the recipients was professor Li Jianjun from our university, a prominent figure in the field of philosophy and social sciences at the national level. Professor Li was honored with a nomination prize for his outstanding contributions.
At the opening ceremony of the 12th Guizhou Talent Expo on April 27th, Xu Lin, Party Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, conferred the Second Guizhou Outstanding Talent Award on Hu Ruizhong, a researcher at the Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as to Jiang Peng, a researcher at the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chief Engineer of the FAST Operation and Development Center. Other provincial leaders in attendance also presented awards to the nominees of the Second Guizhou Outstanding Talent Award and the winners of the Guizhou Talent Introduction Plan Entrepreneurial Talent Award.
Two individuals received the prestigious Guizhou Outstanding Talent Award, while four others have been nominated for the same accolade. This exemplifies Guizhou's sincere endeavors in appreciating, nurturing, attracting and retaining talents locally and beyond.
