On November 19, Guizhou University - Fudan University exchange symposium was held at Fudan University’s Handan Campus. The meeting was attended by Wang Xu, Vice President of Guizhou University, and Zhou Xi, Director of the External Cooperation Office of Fudan University, along with leaders from relevant departments of both universities.
Wang Xu presented the talent introduction policies of Guizhou Province alongside the current advancements in related disciplines at Guizhou University. He expressed a strong desire for the formation of an expert team, bolstered by the comprehensive support of Fudan University, to elevate both the quality of discipline development and the industrial service capabilities at Guizhou University.
Zhou Xi extended a warm welcome to Wang Xu and his delegation, highlighting the longstanding tradition of collaboration between Fudan University and Guizhou University. He noted the recent signing of cooperation agreements with multiple enterprises in Guizhou Province, expressing his optimism that this exchange symposium would significantly enhance communication and cooperation with Guizhou University. Zhou Xi emphasized the shared commitment to jointly advance the high-quality development of both universities.
During the meeting, relevant leaders from Guizhou University provided an overview of their respective departments and proposed support goals and needs regarding their discipline development, aiming to advance cooperation in various fields such as talent cultivation, scientific research, platform construction, and industrial integration. Such collective efforts are designed to cultivate a mutually beneficial partnership between Fudan University and Guizhou University, thereby facilitating the collaborative development of disciplinary resources and expertise.
