A review team from the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, led by Yang Shengben, visited Guizhou University on June 26 to conduct an on-site evaluation of the university's qualifications for enrolling international students. A report meeting was subsequently held in Mingzheng Building to announce the results of the review. Present at the meeting was GZU Vice President Zhou Shaoqi, along with faculty and student representatives, primarily from GZU's College of International Education.
Zhou Shaoqi extended a warm welcome to the review team and expressed gratitude for the long-standing support provided for GZU by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education. He stated that the university would seize this opportunity to improve through the suggestions of the review team, and continue to leverage its strengths to contribute to the recruitment, training, and management of international students in Guizhou Province.
Professor Ning Mei, Dean of the College of International Education, briefed the review team on GZU's work in international student affairs and received feedback from the review team.
