On the morning of October 25th, a delegation visited Guizhou University (GZU), led by Armando Jo?o Mdumba, Director of the Maputo Municipal Education Bureau; Odúzia Salvador Chabali Malengo, Principal of Katembe Maotai School; and Cai Daxiong, President of the Guizhou Chamber of Commerce in Mozambique. The delegation engaged in discussions with GZU representatives, including Vice President Zhang Dalin and key personnel from the Office of International Relations, the Institute of Science and Technology, the Office of Cooperation and Exchange, the College of International Education, and the School of Management. The meeting was presided over by Hong Yun, Director of the Office of International Relations.
Vice President Zhang Dalin welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the university's history, current development, academic programs, and international educational collaborations. He emphasized GZU's commitment to fostering educational exchanges with higher education institutions in Africa. He expressed hope for increased cooperation with Mozambique, aiming to benefit both parties and encouraged continued support for these initiatives to achieve better outcomes.
Director Armando Jo?o Mutemba presented an overview of Mozambique's educational landscape, expressing a desire to collaborate with Guizhou University. He looked forward to strengthening exchanges, deepening friendships, and making progress together.
During the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on various topics, including teacher-student exchanges, academic collaborations, joint talent training programs, and industry-university-research cooperation.
